Manicuring Program

Why Manicuring?

Join a booming industry! Nail care services and products have experienced a major growth spurt over the past few years, according to Nails magazine. With the introduction of revolutionary gel products, the popularity of nail art, and the power of social media, consumer demand for professional nail services continues to rise. With this comes a renewed and greater respect for manicuring as a career choice.

The Washington State Employment Security Department estimates that the job outlook for manicurists will grow 26% through the year 2022, faster than the average for all occupations. In addition to providing nail services in a salon or spa, many licensed manicurists go on to become salon owners, product representatives and nail educators.

If you enjoy working in a fun, fast-paced environment where you get to make people look and feel beautiful, then a career as a licensed manicurist could be for you.

You could be working in your dream career in less than four months!

About Our Manicuring Program

As a student attending Gene Juarez Academy’s nail school, you receive an education that is backed by over 40 years’ experience of operating highly successful salon and spa locations. We have trained numerous students to become highly skilled & successful licensed manicurists. And best of all, Gene Juarez Academy is a nationally accredited cosmetology school; so financial aid, grants & scholarships for manicuring programs are available to those who qualify.

You will learn the most advanced techniques in the nail industry including relaxing spa manicures and pedicures, nail enhancements such as acrylic and gel nails, shellac, and nail art. Plus, you will be taught proven business-building concepts that will allow you to market your nail services, sell retail products, and develop a loyal clientele.

We proudly use only high-quality professional nail care products including Creative Nail Design (CND), Footlogix and Spa Technologies in all of our manicure & pedicure services.

Our manicure licensing class schedule requires attendance five days a week for eight hours a day at our North Seattle campus. The 600-hour program schedule takes less than four months to complete.
